2021- The snub of this year was Delroy Lindo for Da 5 Bloods, which was a carreer high for him.
My favorite of the nominations is Bradley Cooper in 2019 for A Star is Born. Cooper plays a famous singer names Jackson Maine. Maine falls in love with Ally, a wanna be singer. Maine has to navigate the line between his love of Ally and drinking. He loses himself, even seeming not to truly know how to love anything other than the high of drinking. He gave a multilayered perforances that pulled at your heart strings. He not only sang he also produced and directed the movie. He did a amazing job playing a very heavy role, his character facing depression, substance abuse, and suicidal thoughts. He made you fall in love with the character, which is why he was my favorite.
